OVERVIEW:

Pursuing the on-demand trend in the taxi booking industry, Apporio Infolabs has introduced its on-demand taxi booking solution named 'Apporio Taxi.' The complete solution comprises a Rider App, Driver App, and Admin Dashboard. The Admin Dashboard is a web-based panel where you can manage and monitor the complete activity of app users (both riders and drivers).

HOW IT WORKS?

Driver Sign Up:

• The workflow of the Apporio taxi commences with the Driver making a Sign Up request using the Driver App. The Driver must upload identification proof and vehicle details to submit a Sign Up request.
• The Admin receives the Driver Sign Up request on their Admin Dashboard and can approve/disapprove the driver's request.
• Once approved by Admin, the Driver can start receiving trip inquiries through their app. The Driver has the option to go Offline/Online.

Customer Makes Booking Request:

• The Customer selects a cab category and pins the pick-up location on the map.
• Customers can view available cabs around the pick-up location on the map, along with the estimated time of arrival of the nearest driver to that location.
• The Customer has the option to Book Now or Book Later.
• Upon making the booking request, it is sent to the nearest available driver at that location.

Driver Allocation to a Booking Request:

• A driver can Accept/Reject a booking request. If no action is taken within 20 seconds, the request is automatically rejected and moved to the next nearest driver. This process can be customized according to specific requirements.
• Once a driver accepts a booking request, their screen displays a map showing the path to the Customer's Pick-Up Location.

Driver Arrives - Start Trip and End Trip:

• Upon reaching the Customer's location, the driver clicks on the arrival button. Customers cannot cancel once the driver has arrived, and a waiting timer begins.
• To start the trip, drivers input the destination location (optional) in the app and click on 'Start Trip.'
• The route to the destination location can be checked within the app, and upon arrival, drivers click on 'End Trip.'

Trip Completion - Fare Calculation and Invoice:

• The distance and time of travel between start and end trips are calculated for fare purposes.
• Admin can set prices per km, base price, waiting time charges, and other miscellaneous charges for fare calculation.

Rating of Customer and Driver:

• Following trip completion, both Customers and Drivers have the option to submit ratings for each other.
• The ratings are averaged out and displayed on user profiles within the app; Driver ratings are also visible on the Admin Panel.
